Leukemia causes more deaths than any other cancer among children and young adults under the age of 20; however it is expected to affect 10 times as many adults then children

Over the next 5 years:

 

-96 million dollars will be spent on Leukemia research

 

-55 million dollars will be spent on Lymphoma research

 

-21 million dollars will be spent on Myeloma research

 

How can I help?
The Rotary Club of Quincy, is hosting the 4th annual MatchMakers of Hope Walk. The Walk is scheduled to take place on Saturday, September 26, 2009, at Washington Park from 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with the walk kicking off at 7:00 p.m. Food, Fun and Family is the theme for the evening as we walk to celebrate lives touched by blood cancers.
